  • First reach out via email or DM. We’ll talk about services, rates, and timelines, and I’ll answer any questions you might have. Then you’ll send over 1,000 words from your manuscript, and I’ll conduct a free sample edit for you. If you like my editing style and want to work together, we’ll get your project on my calendar with a contract and deposit.

  • Yes, I require a nonrefundable deposit (30% of the estimated project cost) to secure your spot on my calendar.

  • Depending on my schedule, I am able to accept some rush jobs for an additional fee. 

  • I use The Chicago Manual of Style, 18th ed., which is considered the industry standard in US book publishing.

  • A style sheet helps maintain consistency throughout the manuscript (and any future books in a series) by tracking preferences for formatting, style, and spelling.

  • Editors are humans, and humans are not perfect. But I strive to edit all manuscripts to the highest standard.
