Then you’ll send over 1,000 words from your manuscript, and I’ll conduct a free sample edit for you. If you like my editing style and want to work together, we’ll get your project on my calendar with a contract and deposit.

Yes, I require a nonrefundable deposit (30% of the estimated project cost) to secure your spot on my calendar.

Depending on my schedule, I am able to accept some rush jobs for an additional fee. 

I use The Chicago Manual of Style, 18th ed., which is considered the industry standard in US book publishing.

A style sheet helps maintain consistency throughout the manuscript (and any future books in a series) by tracking preferences for formatting, style, and spelling.

Editors are humans, and humans are not perfect. But I strive to edit all manuscripts to the highest standard.
